Knee Binding
Today's Edge has become a authorized dealer for Knee Binding A new binding company and designed  to help reduce knee injuries.  Each year one third of all  reported ski injuries involve knee ligaments, including 70,000 torn anterior cruciate ligaments. Knee Binding has developed a new third dimension feature called "pure lateral heel release" which detects twisting forces in the heel.  Current binding manufactures do not offer this feature. Other  Knee Binding performance features include "lever edge technology" which creates more precise edge control through the use of wider platforms the ski boot sits on.  New "float technology" allows the ski to flex more naturally and reduces flat spots.
Knee Binding has quickly won acclaim from Powder Magazine with "2012 Skiers Choice" award and "Editors Choice" awards two years in a row from Woman's Adventure Magazine. Knee Binding offers four models to choose from, including offer a woman's specific model called  KB9-L Retail price ranges from $399.00 to $459.00.  Knee Binding is made with durable resigns and stainless steel which is manufactured in the USA and assembled in Vermont. Comes with a three year warrantee.  For more information please visit the Knee Binding web page  www.kneebinding.com

Zeal Goggles
I've heard it over and over in Stowe, VT. How hard it can be to ski in flat light. Stowe is located in Lamoille County, ranked as one the cloudiest counties in the United States. Skiing and riding here we find some days that get plenty of sunshine and others that get very little.  I purposely have been on the look out for a superior flat light goggle. I skied the Zeal Goggle at a Trade Show last winter. What impressed me the most is the science that goes into these goggles and not just fluff.  Photochromic lens which allows 13% to 43% of all visible light by changing the tint of the lens with the brightness of the sun. (or lack of sun) Very helpful for "aging eyes" and the variety of light we have on the slopes Polarized lens for UV protection and spherical lens that offer wider field of view.  Made in sunny Boulder, Colorado.

  Stockli Stormrider 95 Skis
One of the new rockered skis for this season. The Stormrider 95 is a versatile big mountain ski for powder and trails. Early rise tips improves lift in the powder and helps prevent the ski from getting burried. Shorter contact area makes the ski feel shorter  and more maneuverable on and off the trails.  Comes in four sizes 166, 174, 183, & 192 cm. with a side cut of 128 mm. tip / 95 mm. waist / 117 mm. tail. Todays Edge will have 166 cm. & 174 cm.  models for demo this winter. Always best to "try em" before you "buy em." Save time by reserving demo's on the Today's Edge web page.
